I started my organizing business after a nearly 20-year Television career. In television, I began as a production assistant, moved into the traffic department, then spent the remainder of my career as a Research Director at stations in Illinois and Michigan. At each position, I put in place new systems to help each station run more efficiently. A research director it was also my responsibility to train staff on how to understand and use all the research at their disposal.
I realized all along what I really liked to do was to make people’s lives easier by building systems that made their jobs and life simpler and more productive. Once the system was in place I wanted a new challenge. I also missed not having one on one relationships with clients. What a better career to have than as a Professional Organizer? After a few years as a professional organizer, I found that my passion is helping people with their photo and media collections.
Like most people I have made the conversion from film photography to digital photography and spent some time creating organizational systems for both. I pull from my years working in television with a knowledge of graphic design and video technology to help clients. Whether you are a scrapbooker or someone that simply needs to organize your digital files, I can help you find the solution that best suits your needs.
I feel that this is a perfect blend of my background in media and production with organizing. I can help people organize physical and digital pictures and create photo books and slideshows so you can enjoy your pictures. I have recently added in-house scanning to my service offerings.
In 2011 my family moved to Batavia, Illinois from Southeast Michigan. I live with my husband, two daughters and two cats. When I find free time you will find me cooking and baking, gardening, organizing events for the Batavia Environmental Commission, taking wine trail trips to Michigan and spending time with my family.
